What can I do to convince my parents to buy me a Nintendo Wii for christmas?

I’ve worked very hard this year and I believe I deserve a Wii. I’m a straight A student and I’ve never gotten into any major trouble (i don’t do drugs, alcohol, haven’t been in jail…). I don’t go partying every week, so I don’t know what to do. I am working on typing an Info packet on the Wii to convince my parents, but do you guys have any suggestions?
I know that a Wii is hard to get but I know on Ebay i can get it for like 400. I know another website where I can get it too but before I get it, I need to convince my parents. Thanx!

You know it is almost impossible to find a Wii anywhere. If you think your parents can afford 500 to 1000 to buy one off Ebay or take it easy on them and let them give you a promise note to get you one as soon as they are available for $250 again in stores
